Digital Selective Calling
* The QUEST meets the Internationally recognized requirements for SC101 Digital Selective Calling. The DISTRESS function activates the unattended, continuous digital MAYDAY including vessel identification, Latitude / Longitude and time, to facilitate prompt response. Additional calls that can be made are Individual, Urgency, Safety, Position Request (reply only).
GPS Repeatability
* When connected to a GPS receiver the QUEST repeats Latitude and Longitude along with date and time on the radio display. This is a handy way of knowing you position when the radio and GPS are at different locations.
