I did my first boat dive yesterday in the straits of Mackinaw (Eber Ward 115') off of a boat. I hooked up both tanks and back rolled in. Seemed to work fine. When getting out of the water I took off my fins and climbed up the ladder. Also worked fine. We were in decent chop but not crazy. I am relieved that it went as well as it did, as now I am comfortable saying that sm off the boat for me is possible.
