Booking an LOB without trip insurance is gambling.

Squeezing yourself into a stinking box below the waterline with others is gambling psychologically speaking

I'm glad nobody was hurt during the fire, but that is surely going to cost a pretty penny to replace.

"We understand that no divers were onboard at the time of the incident, but we don’t currently have information if any crew members onboard."

No one was hurt, all crew evacuated. Apparently crew attempted to fight the fire and then evacuated.

Another Master Liveaboard boat goes down! Thank goodness there were no divers on board.

Uh oh I did a trip on that LOB in 2022. Lucky that the fire started before a dive trip began. The boat usually stays at the harbour to pickup divers on incoming flights into the late afternoon before commencing what is usually a 7D/6N schedule … likely there are going to be about 21 (or less) just-landed divers stranded at Male Airport now….

They might as well make the most of it in Male. Seems like sharks came back and our last two dives of Addu - Male itinerary were blast - skinners guitars bulls tigers…
