I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to dive at blue springs state park. i believe it is just southwest of Eufala Alabama. I was wondering if anyone knows if you are able to dive there. It is a campground and a guy at work told me that it is crystal clear and that no one is sure exactly how deep it is.I was just thinking that if we were able to dive it if someone would like to meet up there one weekend and try it out if possible.

I think Blue Springs, FL is closed this time of year to scuba divers or anyone who plans on getting in the water. The reason is that the manatees use the springs in the winter. Though in the summer months when the spring is manatee free it is open for divers. It's a pretty nice dive from what I've heard.

aquaman, there are likely two dozen springs called Blue Spring. Given the description on location, South of Eufala, I'm guessing he's talking about a different spring.

Yeah its in Alabama....Southwest of Eufala Alabama. Its close to clio alabama

Looks pretty well-developed, and shallow for OW.

Yeah, I just called the state park and they do allow scuba diving but you are not allowed to enter the opening of the spring. It is only 12 feet deep, but deep enough to get wet and blow bubbles. My girlfriend and I are wanting to go camping and I only live about an hour and a half away. I may have to give it a shot just because it there........... its water........ I have gear .........have the time .........and......... well........why not? Daily admission into the park is 3 or 4 dollars. We will be doing just primitive camping which is like $8.40 per night

If its the one I've heard about, it does infact have cave system, but its(the cave) only divable by permit.
