This is a note to any divers in the Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky area. I dove Blue Springs yesterday with three buddies. The air temperature was 35 but the water was 54 at the surface and 52 at depth (47 feet for me). Not all that bad. The worst part was the cooling off when you got out. Dive season in the midwest is not over!

Welcome!
You have got that right! Come join us Dec 1st! :D

Sounds like the same temps that we had Friday at Hidden Paradise.

My dive season never ends.

Land Locked, I won't make it on December 1st. Our local dive center is conducting a Discover for one of the local universities and I'm one of the Divemasters assisting. There is a crew of us heading to Blue Springs on New Year's Day. Maybe you and your buddies will be there too?

Post something in the KPP forum about it and I am sure that some of us will be there. I think we have done one the past three years..just a couple divers though.

BTW, if you get 10 or more divers then BS will give you a $5 break on the entry fee. Just call ahead and let them know.

But what was the vis like???? I'm hoping to drop in at least one day this week.

Viz was in the 15 foot range. Better than when I was out there last July when there was a bunch of folks going through OW cert and stirring up the bottom. Join our crew for a New Year's Dive! We're going.

i didn't dive last year for new year. i probably should this year!
