Cool

The colours & diversity of the u/w world never cease to amaze me. Sometimes it's hard to describe it to people who don't dive... how there are plants & animals that are so incredible as to be bizarre... and yet are ALIVE.

It's a wonderful world we live in! :D

I thought about drawn butter and lemons too....But a blue one? I'm glad it's where it is, not on my table!

Thanks, Wendy!

Thanks, Wendy. I have heard of such things, like the half and half lobster found off of New England, but this picture is worth more than 1,000 words!

I've heard of them too but I've never seen a pic. Wow! They're quite pretty as far a lobsters go! Kind of like blue smarties.

But jiveturkey, I think it's really more like the shade of the blue M&M, but I am partial to chocolate.

When I was in Western Australia, a guy had a blue marron (I think) in his tank. Marron are a sort of fresh water crayfish. He told me that a fisherman had found a river with a few blue marron in it, had caught them all and now they only exist in captivity.
