what kind of grunts are these? (fish ID help?)

Good morning trolls!
I enjoyed a beautiful dive at BHB, June 4.
I'm hoping someone can help me identify these grunts.

Hi swim deep.
Your ID request is a bit of a puzzler, but here’s my best guess:
Body stripes and red margin on the tail leads me to say you’ve photographed some rather commonly found Lane Snapper, Lutjanus synagris. However, the red circles around the eyes gives me the sneaking suspicion that I’m incorrect, but can think of no other species off hand.

I was thinking about coming down this weekend and diving Saturday and Sunday but the tides look really early or really late. Will a 6-630pm tide run ya past the losing time of park? I know it stays light till about 830 now, but it's a 3 hour drive and I would hate to drive down and not be able to drive. Also I was looking for someone maybe to show us aroud the dive area? I have dove the BHB before, but we stayed around the boat and shopping carts and all of that right there in front of that little beach. Any help would be great!

evening tides should be doable.
sunday morning is doable as well. I am considering that one myself.

The bridge is in Phil Foster Park. Check their webpage for details.
It is open until sunset.
High tide is when the current is slack. It is recommended you enter a half hour before and exit a half hour after. You can stay around the snorkel trail area to avoid the stronger currents before or after that time window. Force-E Scuba Center gave us a nice briefing, tide chart, and map.
