It was a great day the viz was good and the park was not that busy till later in the day.

BHB yesterday, parking lot full around hi tide and earlier, 79 degrees, 20 ft viz.

It was only a few years ago when I did a dive right after Christmas and the water temp at the bridge was 68°. :cold: Course, we had the bridge to ourselves!!! LOL.

Circle aimlessly with all the other lost souls doing the same thing till a car pulls out and it's a mad press to grab that spot.
Helps to have friend get out and block traffic so you can pull in without someone zipping in to the spot you have blocked traffic 10 minutes to get.

Don’t park in the longer poorly marked spots that are for boats trailers only or you will get a ticket on the weekend for sure.

How much is a ticket?

Used to be $50 for car parking in a boat-trailer space when ticketed by Riviera Police. But they stopped regular scheduled patroling the lots several years ago because they ran out of money. Now they'll come if called. It also used to be when all the car parking spaces were full, they would close the entrance gate (leaving the exit gate open).

A friend of ours parked at Force E last Friday, New Years Day. It's quite a hike over the tall bridge. Several folks have mentioned parking at the bank just east of the east bridge on weekends especially when the bank is closed as being ok. In the last couple of months someone spoke here re: getting a ticket parking in the boat trailer spaces, saying that it wasn't too high and worth it to dive. A few months ago, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office returned police duty to the city of Riviera Beach, within the park. New year's Day, there were 1 or 2 travel trailers and a motor home in the trailer spots--few boat trailers though.......so no complaints I guess.

Huh? They have a substation and a number of patrol boats at the location, what are you babbling about?...
