Hi, i have a buddy who has a problem with his nose. Every time he removes his mask, there's blood build up in his sinuses. Is this normal or is there something wrong with him?:idk:

..Blood in your mask is not normal...(am thinkin' you knew that already)...your dive buddy needs to be examined by a Dr...sooner than later.. (ear, nose, throat specialist would be best)

Is your buddy equalizing the mask squeeze?
I got a bloody nose on my one of my checkout dives and I realized it was because I didnt take care of my mask squeeze

This could be a partially or completely obstructed sinus. Concur with scubamama's recommendation to see an ENT physician.

thanks for all the suggestions. My buddy is going to an ent specialist this weekend. will keep you guys posted!
