...but skiing (especially in Tahoe of all places) isn't DIR... You should both change your plans if you can or at least measure the mountain in ft instead of meters/metres/whatever..

When I noticed that the board was down and couldn't get anywhere trying to log onto it, I said, To heck with it and did some real diving instead.

Actually, I had the diving set up already, but was very worried when I couldn't get on Sat. pm or Sunday or even this morning before heading off to work (you know, for my daily diving fix).

Went out Sat. late morning with my dive buddy to Edmonds Underwater Park. I know, probably not everyone's favorite, but for newbie's, it is a nice easy dive with lots to see underwater. Even with all the people there, we only ran into two other divers the whole time we were underwater (no, we didn't hurt them). I think they were just as surprised to see us as we were to see them. We did two dives and had a real good time.

I am still working on getting my weighting down right. The first dive, we swam out and then decided to go under. I could only get about two feet under, so decided to swim down. Stayed fairly shallow and finished up by following the bottom back to the beach. I added some weight for the second and didn't have any trouble getting down and so did some work on my bouyancy. Will have to do a whole lot more work, but it is starting to come together.

Anyway, we had a lot of fun and will have to go back again to see some more of the sights down there.

I don't rely on SB over the weekends...just weekdays. I spend all day at work on the computer, don't touch it on my w/e's. Heck, what would I do on those sloooooooow mondays without catching up on all the new threads.:D
