Okay, so I'm not as smart as I thought I was. Damn, that hurts my ego. :p

I'll get a soda while you guys figure it out.
:)

I told you all - this is a difficult thing to solve. But one that real blenders face quite often....
:D
Mania

I know what you mean, Mania. For this reason, I try to work it out so I breath my tanks down as low as possible.... fortunately, I usually actually enjoy the shallow part of the dive.... lotsa critters live near the surface ;)

He and O2 in Alaska are 2 to 3 times more expensive than in the states, and that's with the discount I get because I work for the fire dept :11: But even PP blending, it's about 1/3 the cost of having the dive shop fill my tanks.

But..... since I bought a little Rix SA3 compressor, I will eventually put together the blending stick to continuous blend and bank EAN 32 and TriOx 30/30. For the occassions I use 21/35 and EAN 50, I can PP mix.

In our blending station we blend TX with PP method and EAN by contunious blending.
BTW - I also love the shallow end of dive and try to stay there as long as I can. With one excpetion - still my byuoancy in the dry suit at shallow waters is not perfect (after coming back from deep) and it makes this a bit difficult.
:D

I have mentioned several times that with a drysuit, it's best to anticipate the need to vent the gas and start dumping before you actually need to, that way your ascent doesn't get out of control. The new drysuit I got recently has a 'cuff dump' on the forearm, which vents gas a whole lot slower than the PITA shoulder dump I have on what is now my backup suit, so the need to anticipate and start dumping early is even more critical. I'm slowlly getting the hang of it, though ;)

Snow
I was slowly getting the hang of it and lately it was much better but...
for the last month and a half I can't dive :(((
Although was seriously considering diving but the cast is to wide to fit into the dry suit boot
:D
Mania

I have it... 42! You can't argue with that.

Hey Mania, what is the starting pressure in the 2x15 tx15/55 doubles?

I just started working the problem and I might be able to use these, although it would be just to conserve helium. So does the ideal solution account for having at least one He bottle with decent pressure in it to do more mixes?
