Black Dorids at Shaw's Cove

We seem to be having a population boom of Black Dorid's at Shaw's Cove right now.

These little 1" nudibranchs can be found in bunches of up to 10 individuals. Look just past the first swim through for the 1/2" long white ribbons of eggs. Be careful where you put down your hands becuase they really blend in well.

It certainly seems to be, from the picture. Here is a picture of one with their egg mass, on their favorite bryozoan.

Thanks, Aaron, for the beautiful photo. I think I saw one of these at Marineland Saturday morning, next to the eggs as shown in Scott's photo. I just couldn't remember enough about it's shape and coloration to get a match on the slugsite. When I first saw it, I thought it was a tiny Navarnax until I saw the frills. Thanks for the posting.
