Bignose Shark

Caught this guy/gal at the northernmost extreme of its range. Delaware. Fishing for bluefish with a mullet rig. Bignose shark - Wikipedia

No weight or length, just a few quick pics and back into the water as fast as possible (unharmed). Deepwater shark, so very cool.

Beautiful fish! Cut back through the surf heading home without the least effort.

Ha! Don't think so. Tummy full of mullet and I'm pretty sure you won't need a bigger boat for this one.
