Finesse once bubbled...
Thanks for sharing ... Looks like someone was going into the fuselage ... or at least having a good look :wink:

Depth ?? that is one of the more ?shallow? wrecks out there ~ 90feet ?. isn?t it???

Hope to get out there someday .... what an experience to dive amongst that wartime wreckage

The Betty Bomber is a fairly shallow dive. I was at 60ft when I took the second photo. We normally do this as an added "between" dive. We save about 1000 psi from our first dive, stop on our way to the lunch site, Eten Island, and do a short dive. The Betty is straight off the end of the old runway on Eten about 150 yards out. It's not a very big wreck so you only need a little air to take a quick look. My dive time when I took these photos was 15min. I have free dove this before and taken video and stills. The guy having a look into the "Bomber" is our boat driver. He doesn't get to dive that often, but our guide "Rio" let him since only three of us wanted to do the short dive. I almost didn't do this dive. I had forgotten and used all my air on the previous dive and I didn't want to cut into my air for the next one. Lucky for me, my wife decided to sit this one out, and she still had 1000 psi in her tank. ;-}

Thanks for the info. Now I love to see pictures of San Francisco Maru. I know you must have posted them somewhere already. Could you please post some of them again?
