Best way to use two days before Fiji Aggressor Trip

I will be arriving at Nadi on a Thursday morning - what's the best way to use the two days? Any recommendations on what to do for those two days - maybe some kind of land-based activity? I was thinking of maybe going over to Pacific Harbor, staying there, and then maybe on Friday going out on a day dive trip to Beqa. It would be interesting to compare a couple Beqa dive sites to the sites Aggressor visits out in the Bligh Waters. Are there places to stay in Pacific Harbor that won't break the bank, yet is still close to a dive operation like Aqua Trek?

Yes. Deuba Inn and Pacific Safari Club both do rooms for <F$100 for a double. The former has excellent food and is lovely. The latter has an eccentric English owner. Catch my drift?

We had a great time. Say hi to Captain Ned and gang from the guy in the kilt. Here is our trip report and slide show. We had two days and enjoyed just taking one day to relax and lay around the pool and then did one of the inland tours. Pick up some school supplies for the village visit.

mjh - great photos - also recently stayed at Belmar - thought it was outstanding.

Heading for Fiji Aggressor for 8/12 trip. Will be at Kulu Bay for 5 days prior and at a place to be determined (possible Wananavu) for a couple of days after.
