What is the best way to put on a wetsuit? Is there a trick? Is there something I can get to make it slide on easier? I have a large suit and it fits me pretty decent and feels good on, no limit of mobility, but it takes a bit to get up my legs and thighs. Can I put something inside or is there something I can buy to wear or whats the deal? I have heard ladies panty hose...but lol? Thanks.

Mike

I have seen a couple of people wear skins underneath and it seemed to go on easier.
For what it was worth.

A big tub of silicone grease!

When I was going through my OW class, my instructor used to wear pantyhose. We all laughed. A buddy of mine recently talked me into trying out a dive skin... What a difference!!! I practically slid into the suit. It was much easier. Now I am thinking about the price difference between the $5 Pantyhose (or whatever they cost, I'm no expert) and the $40 dive skin. I just need to figure out how to talk my wife into buying me a pair that won't lead to a whole different discussion.

LOL, I might try the panty hose thing. If I do I'll report back how it works...but you have to promise not to tell anyone I know about it lol. Anyway, thanks yall.

Use a plastic grocery bag. Put it on your hand and slide arm through sleeve. Retrieve bag, and repeat for other arm, then for legs. It works like a charm.

Some people use "Suit Snot," a mix of either half water/half hair conditioner or half water/half baby's shampoo.

People laugh at my pantyhose but I'm the one laughing when they're still struggling to get into their suits! Try a dive skin if you're panty-hose-shy; personally I'd rather spend the $100 CDN on other dive gear.

"Suit Snot," .

Ewwww!

plastic bags work, skins work, wetting it helps.

My reccommendation about putting your suit on is "ONE LEG AT A TIME"
