My best boat dive would probably have been back in 1998,1999(not sure which) on the oil rigs in orange county. I was on the Psalty Five with my buddy Jay and four other divers. Beautiful day full of sunshine, clear water with 80'+ visibility. You could look through the support pylons from one side of the structure to the other side.I remember staring straight down and seeing the pylons disappear into the beautiful blue water below me and thinking how awesome of a sight it was.I had only been certified for a couple of months when I made this dive. There was plenty of sea life under the structure: many species of fish, sea scallops, giant sea stars, and several playful and inquisitive sea lions.I think I'll always remember and be grateful that I had that dive.
