...an up to date consensus from SB members on what their favorite and worse dives there were and why.

There's an old joke about pizza that applies here:

"Pizza (Bonaire diving) is like sex: when it's good it's great, and when it's not great... it's still pretty good."

The best is whatever you get to dive, the worst is any dive that gets cancelled.

favorites:
drift dive off Klien Bonaire, I think it was called Jerry's reef not sure was one of two boat dives included in our package.

Barrier reef at Lac bay saw eaglerays here.
Angela1 saw a Manta ray.

can't think of a bad dive ,like someone mentioned before some just not as awesome
as others. Leaving sucks, can't wait to go back.

Victim of PBD :D

Oil Slick Leap and North Belnem were favorites. There is no worst!

We love the dives up north in the park, Playa Funchi is great.

Very fond memories of Angel City. Log book says I've done Bari at least 8 times so I guess I like that one too.

I am amazed that only one person mentiond the Andrea sites. I loved Andrea II because it was there that I saw rays, squid, turtles, puffer fish and a whole host of others. BUT, it was the night dive on Bari Reef that I saw the Octopus. The video is pooor quality because it is a P&S but it was still a thrill for me.

I agree with all though.....I did not find a dive there that I did not like. We leave in two weeks for another stay at Den Laman and will let you know if there are any bad dives now (not going to happen)

Least Favorite:

Yellow Submarine

This is a great night dive due to easy entry and exit. I've seen tons of eels, octopi, tarpon, and it's all easy and shallow diving.

Some entries aren't easy, and that's about the only "least favorite" dive sites I have. You just never know what you'll see. One day a particular site will be unbelievable, and the next time it will just be great. One week you'll have eagle rays on every dive, another week you won't see any. Don't worry about good and not-the-best dive sites. They are all good. What you'll find is there is a difference in the dive sites on the north side vs. the south side. One wall vs. double reefs.
