I lost the anti fogging solution I got from Canon quite early on. For a while I tried the silica packs, they really didn't work for me.

sorry to disagree - I think it's the temperature - the camera heats up the housing and together with the colder water it causes condensation on the inside just like on windows in a house. Why it's only on the lens port I don't know.

Again I think it's the temperature difference causing fog which is why you don't have any.
