My husband and I are going to the Grand Cayman the first week in April. We are avid snorkelers and have done some research as to where the off shore spots are. The general consensus seems to be:
West Bay, Turtle Farm
West Bay, Cemetery Reef
George Town, Wreck of the Gamma
George Town, Cheese Burger Reef
George Town, Wreck of the Cali
George Town, Eden Rock/Devil's Grotto
South Sound, Blue Parrott
South Sound, Smith's Cove
Bodden Town, Beach Bay
Bodden Town, Cemetery
East End, Colliers
East End, Queen's Monument
North Side, Rum Point

So.....of these, which are better than others? Which, if any should we skip? Other than StingRay City, are we missing any other good snorkeling spots?

THANKS!!

Add Cobalt Coast to the list. Very nice snorkelling, easy access via ladder and the bar has an Ocean View.

Maybe Sunset House as well. Not sure if the Blue Parrot still exists.

In the West Bay area by the Turtle Farm they were building an underwater attraction which I believe was called Boatswain's Bay. I've not been there but my impression was that it was to be an admission-charging venue to attract the hordes of cruise-ship day-trippers.
