Hi all,
I moved to San Diego about 6 months ago from Philly, did a bunch of Jersey Diving out there. Haven't done much since I've been here, since it's been crazy with finding/starting a new job, buying a house etc. Anyway, now I'm ready to get back into the groove of diving, want to get into some wreck diving out here. I'm all set up for diving doubles since that's what I dove in NJ, so I'd like to keep using that setup. Can anyone recommend to me the best tech shop in San Diego that has no problem servicing doubles, doing O2/Nitrox fills (any mix), and caters to the more tech diver crowd?
Thanks!
Kevin

In San Diego, you really only have two shops blending. IB divers in Imperial Beach. (I hear good things about them but havent used their services) and SDUA San Diego Underwater Adventures. They are a full service tech shop and pump nitrox and custom blend trimix. Great customer service and a heck of a Trimix plan for members. $75 all the standard mix you can dive and good deals on custom blends. Probably 90% of the SD tech crowd gets their mix there. Dr. Creasy runs a class A shop.

Just my 2cents

I don't think you could beat SDUA's prices if you tried.. pretty nice people too.

Head over to ScubaPost.net and sign up. Lots of local SD-area divers (and some LA-area, too) on that board; a very active community. :)

For Tech, I think The Scuba Center on Camp Pendleton matches your request the best. They can blend/fill anything on-site. Yes, you can get on base, their website is www.escubacenter.com, call and Ray or Megan will tell you how.
