I find Rescue courses quite quick and not to deep.....

Any idea about which are the best rescue courses? PADI, SSI, NAUI, Etc?

thanks

I like the PADI course myself.

PADI Rescue. The latest reworking of the course makes it second to none. 5 confined water sessions now, that reduces the two days of open water to one full day of open water, and the new training materials are an improvment as well. The knowledge retention and confidence level of the students after the course has improved as a result.

The PADI Rescue course that we completed was very good. Just like with OW, it's the instructor not necessarily the certifying agency that counts.

Personally I like ours.
It happens to be SSI now, but between Smedley & me (mostly Smedley), we have either taken or taught YMCA, NAUI, PADI, NASDS and SSI rescue. Tom's kept the best of all and rolled 'em into the (IMNSHO) "best (Stress &) Rescue course."
Rick :)

i only have the padi courses on pei but id like to take more rescue and wreak diving courses just incase something happens i can act quickly with out time wasted in thinkin i believe its better to be way over qualified in diving then metting the standard to get certified
