I just don't log dives
I graduated PADI and have been diving for 1.5 years. As a newbee I loved the padi magazine, but at this point I'm tired of reading about the same dive spots, recycled content, poor product reviews (they won't write anything bad), and excessive product placement.

Any suggestions for a good recreational dive mag out there?

Thx / Rik

If you want informative content, read "The Economist". Scuba magazines are mainly for the pretty pictures.

To be fair though, Rodale's has gotten about 100% better in the past year on content. However, expect to see the same warm caribbean dive locations featured over and over since its more expensive to send people to the south pacific and indian oceans.

Dive Training.

the K

I agree with the K. Dive training and you can usually pick it up free at your LDS. It has more useful content than just pretty pictures

definitely dive training... you can get it at major bookstores...

Unless Dive Training has improved, it was a fairly useless magazine whenever I picked up at the LDS. I just flipped to the pretty pictures. The articles always seemed so basic to be almost useless if you were actually certified by a thorough instructor.

Maybe I'm just a minority.
