Best places to golf and dive

Am I mistaken or does Paradise Island/Nassau have a nice golf course? Cable Beach maybe? How is the diving there?? Must be passable right???

You're right, it's the Ocean Club. The Michael Jordan Celebrity tournament is played there. So golf in the morning, then drive a mile (or so) to Bahama Divers for their 2pm 1tank.

Going to Maui in a month. Staying at Grand Champions Resort on the Blue Course in Wailea...best shore diving is right there and you are surrounded by golf.

I'm looking at Turks and Caicos, as well as Curacao. Maybe not the best golfing, but at least its got options!

Thanks for the advice, Maui sounds good ... is Grand Cayman's main course open yet? They told me when I was there last year that it might not be playable until 2007 or 2008. I'm going back in March and would like to play it, but it was pretty much flattened by the hurricane.

There are also several golf/dive destinations closer to home. The Trump National Golf Course, http://www.trumpgolf.com/trumplosangeles/html/frameset.asp
is only a couple miles from Marineland, my favorite dive site.
In Carmel, Pebble Beach Golf Course is next to some of the best diving anywhere.
