Hello,
New to the board, is the diving better in Falling Rock and Joes Quarry than Laurel Lake?

A big fat yes.

on where you dive in Laurel Lake and what you plan to do on the dives.

Falling Rock has odd bits and pieces of things sunk for you to find. Also Falling Rock warms up nicely whereas Laurel Lake stays pretty chilly below 40 feet.

Laurel Lake provides plenty of depth for deep dives and the likely hood that you may dive where no diver has gone before.

Viz can drop pretty low at Falling Rock and Laurel Lake can go to zero if you muck up the bottom where you are at. I have seen better than 60 feet in one place in Laurel Lake which was also the first place I ever saw zero viz.

There is a "wall" across from the spillway that is supposed to be a nice dive although its a long surface swim unless you can dive off a boat.
