Hey everyone. I’m also considering a trip, probably in Nov. 2025. My question I pertains to Liveaboards: any favorites? Will avoid Cantamar given advice above. Thanks!
I too am considering November 25. I've heard good things about the Nautilus Explorer and the Solmar V (in that order). I'm meeting with a friend who's done both and will keep you posted. Please do the same.

I have been on the Solmar V and here are my impressions. The common areas of the boat were gorgeous with Wood (I think mahogany but I could be wrong), Frosted Glass and Brass accents.

The cabins, however were TINY! There was almost no storage, just a couple small cubby holes between your bunk and the hull. There was only enough room for one person to stand up in the cabin at a time. (The other person had to wait until the first person was done and was either in the Head, their bunk or had left the cabin before they could stand up.) The heads had both the toilet & the shower in the same spot, so you actually had to straddle the toilet to take a shower.

If I were going back to Socorro, I think I would spend my money going on a different boat.
