I am looking for a reasonably priced (under $200.00) BCD that will mainly be used when traveling (usually to Carribean) but will be used occassionaly for cold water (New England) dives. Is there such a thing as a unit that is small enough to pack easily but would work for me?

I know scuba magazine in www.scubadiving.com featured a travel BC. You may find it there in gear reviews. I know the Seaquest Spectrum I is tiny well buils and may be $50 new on Ebay since its an older model.

Make sure that you buy one with enough lift. Tavel BCD's are generally made for warm water were less weight is used. Cold water dives require more weight because of the thicker wetsuit. This is a mistake many people make. The aqualung Malibu RDS is a geat weight integrated, back inflation, and streamlined BCD. It packs small and can be used in warm and cold waters. Hope this helps.
