I'm seriously looking at the Fusion as my next drysuit purchase. I have compromised shoulder flexibilty so I am considering the Fusion in no small part because of the suits overall flexibility. My question is between the Tech skin and the Bullet skin will I notice any more or less flexibility through the shoulders for performing shut-down drills.

Thanks

Bob

Hi Bob, The Fusion Tech will offer more flexibility because it does not have the same armor on the shoulders as the Bullet.

The Tech is a great suit and a favorite amongst many!

Thanks yet again Justin!

Would you say that the new Fusion One might be even more flexible since it is a back zip.

If you are considering the Si-Tech Neck Seal System as an option for your suit, you might want to try that system on a Demo Day before committing to it. I had that system on a Fusion Sport and felt it did impair flexibility in the shoulder area.

That's a tough call. I have used both suits extensively and I do not believe that one is more flexible than the other. Both suits feel different as the Fusion ONE has less bulk in the chest due to back entry.

I self entry, pockets and SLT system are important to to you - go Fusion TECH. If not, Fusion ONE is a great alternative.

Cheers,

Justin

I went with the Fusion Tech with the Si-Tech neck and wrist seals. If you are narrow in the shoulders and wear a small suit, you may experience a slight lack of flexibility due to the neck seal. I have had no problem with the neck seal.

I would recommend the Fusion Tech for most applications.
