Monterey/Carmel has some good ones; The Sewers, the Laundromat, McDonald's, all named for things on shore near the dive site. Bonaire had a few, like 1000 steps(!) and Oil Slick Reef. Curacao had Wet Suit City (because of fire coral necessating a wet suit). Point Lobos has quite a few strange ones like Montana, Texas, San Diego and Thumbs Up, along with Organ Pipes and Twin Peaks. But the one with the best story has to be Marcos' Pinnacle, named for Marcos Flagg, who was bitten by a GW shark while scuba diving there.

I like using the local dialect to name sites. It gives the site "local character". Go to www.panayexplorers.com see names of sites in Kiniray-A (local dialect in the Philippines).

My wife and I were OWC at Rainbow Valley, near Andros Island in the Bahamas. It was our 3rd day on the ocean, 2:30 pm, 85 degrees topside with a 79 degree temp at 60 feet. Sunny sky, calm waters, terrific company and I can't help thinking about the pot O' gold at the end of our training!!!
