Robint and R-man are dead on. It really depends what you are looking for in quantity/quality of dives, and also what you expect in services (pool, bar, other activities, etc...)... If you're looking for 3 or more dives a day, and all-inclusives suit your style of vacation, CCV and FIBR can't be beat! If $$ is the sole consideration, I personally think FI comes out winner with a lower cost for packages than CCV, although CCV is know for better services and a slightlier easier time for divers looking to squeeze in 4 and 5 dives a day! You can get 4-5 a day at FI, but not as easily as at CCV (from all I've read; never been there myself!
): you need to make arangements with the divestaff ahead of time...
I got the best deal for Fantassy Island by calling their phone reservation line (based in the US) and booking directly through them! They knocked off another 50$ on the best advertised price... Plus, another tip: if you are interested in diving Nitrox all week, you get a cheaper Nitrox deal if you book it ahead of time (rather than on the spot). Saved me another 50$ per person... Anyways, give them a call and see what they can do! Or if your brother can get you a sweet deal on the spot, great... or if you don't mind paying a few $ more for a top notch diving oriented resort, got for CCV (if they still have room...
).
You'll have a blast!
