Does anybody know if Go Pro Hero 3 Black's are available in Egypt?

Sharm El Sheikh definitely not a good place to buy cameras... maybe Cairo but I'd recommend buying elsewhere; you are unlikely to find them cheaper in Egypt than other countries.

Yeah asked the distributor (UAE), the Hero 3 has been cleared for Egypt yet incase anyone is wondering. Go Pro website help doesn't think they ship here, the UAE thinks an individual camera will clear customs

mostly in Cairo you will not go to find it on the shelf ... most probably you will contact the shop, ask for it and see if he can get it for you and for how much... remember Cairo is not that BIG market for UW equipment, you will find companies or big shops HQ but the real items and merchandise will be near the markets in sharm, dahab or hurghada....

I will ask a friend of mine how much would it cost if he gets it for you (and when it can come).... do you have an estimate when you will be in cairo?

Pretty soon, probably Thursday if everything goes to plan, hanging around a few days then would be heading south and would like to have picked up a camera for Marsa Alam etc.

This is too tight, i asked my friend (his website that you mentioned) and he said at least it needs 10 days to be ready....
he has the canon a810 with ikelite housing as a package ... Costing 400 usd ...
