I worked at Club Med in Taba Heights for one year. Safe, luxurious village, lots of fun and amazing food! Taba is North in the Gulf of Aqaba. You can expect water temps of 24 to 30 depending on time of year. 2 dives a day. Night diving was not allowed when I was there (gov't restriction). This may have changed. EANx 32 available. Croissants, yogurt, cheese, coffee, sandwiches during surface interval. Calm waters, great visibility. Tons of scorpion fish, frog fish, pipe fish and interesting sites. I really recommend Maxwel's; Zack's Tables, Aquarium and Shaab Gamila. Rarely would we see dolphins but they could appear. Summer you have a chance to see whale sharks.
Things I did not like were floating plastics and in some parts, less healthy coral. I had an amazing time overall and you can also do a guided shore dive from the beach.
Hurqada has a reputation for great diving, corals in not so great shape, and seeing many dive boats at once. I have never dove there so cannot comment.
Club Med's diving is out-sourced to Red Sea WaterWorld and they are a great operation.
Have fun!
