I thoroughly researched the Mb-sub VB-50, and it is a perfectly awesome LED light. However, its price tag reflects its abilities.

I went with the Light Monkey LED 21-10.

I bought mine from Golem Gear for $1090, which I think is excellent value. Where did you get a LM LED 21-10 for substantially less?

divex is inovative light but with spooky battery code signaling ( battery status )
 
I would also take a look at LFM. I have three of their lights and have had a great experience with all of them.

They offer a 35w led you can find here TEC ONE 35W E/O LED Canister Dive Light by Light-For-Me - TecDiveGear.com Sebastians customer service is also second to none. He will do anything to make sure any issues are worked out.

Take a look, the pricing is great the service is great. Oh ya the lights are pretty ok too ;-)
