For price? See Edge Stealth Weight Integrated BC It seems perfectly adequate. Back inflate, integrated weight system, very low price.

My choice? DSS BP/W

The Stealth is only available now in Medium.

It was replaced by the Stealth II Great deal on EDGE STEALTH 2 BCD from Divers-Supply.com

Perhaps it's old inventory? From the web site the Stealth is available in S, M, L, XL and XXL. I see where the Stealth 2 is almost double the price.

While the Stealth isn't my personal choice, at that price point it's pretty compelling. Maybe it's useful as a backup or warm water rig. Something to throw in a travel bag and not worry too much if the airline loses it.

It might be especially useful for younger divers who will outgrow their equipment in a couple of years. For $180, who cares? You can probably get most of the money back when reselling it on eBay.

Check out the Apeks WTX

BPW config. with comfy padding and plenty of expansion points to grow with your diving... singles, doubles... no problem.

Straight from the school of "buy it once"

Really? Because the last thing a "BPW config" is about is "comfy padding and plenty of expansion points." The WTX seems more like "most of the drawbacks of a traditional BCD with few of the benefits of a BP/W" to me.

what do you think the best bc for the money is these days and what dou you think about the cressi-sub brand?

Quick question, are you looking for info on a BC or a BP/W. It seems that some again, certain parties already think you should just forget about the question you were asking and instead product pug something that you did not ask.

some of those "drawbacks" for me as I've not come across any... (ok there are No pockets... but Plenty of places to Put one [which is kinda the point for an expandable/multiconfigurable rig])
