My LDS looked at it today. We tried to unscrew it but it didn't want to turn very well. We fear that the threads may have been damaged. I am probably going to return it to LP and have them sort it out, too bad they are closed for the next week. Has anyone had this type of problem before? (probably) Should I just get out the big pliers and turn that little ba$tard out? :(

Why are they closed?

Some dip tubes are set with 'Locktight'. The tube has to be heated slightly with a torch. Personally, I would just straighten the tube as Fred suggested. The tubes are probably screwed in/out with a stud insertion tool, a type of wrench which operates by cam action.
