I can relate to the "Belize planning madness." So many options!!! I took a chance with the weather in July and lucked out. The week I visited there was very little rain.
I broke open the piggy bank and stayed at Turneffe Island Lodge. Very nice resort. Good food, friendly staff, and the best part is that you're 5 minutes from some of Belize's best dive sites, including The Elbow.
The day trip to The Blue Hole was a blast!
After a week of diving I rented a car and spent a couple of days travelling around the country.
You're in for a great trip!
