I've been using this on my trip this past week and I'm still getting bites. I was in Cerros a couple days ago and they attacked like I wasn't wearing anything at all. I'll see how it does on the cayes later this week but so far the off wipes have worked better.
 
Probably best to go with an arsenal and figure out what works best for you against the local beasties.
