So if I took a bud light down to 120 FSW and drank it, would it still give me the F@rts on the way back up? (to bring the topic back to diving).

Thought I'd update this for those who like a real beer now that I've actually been to the island. Lover's Ice Cream shop had a small but decent (~20 types) selection of Belgian beers for prices not much higher than I'd see for them in Cleveland. Seemed well cared for but a beer, especially a bottle conditioned one, that travels that far in unknown conditions is a bit of a risk. Still nothing hoppy like I was dying for but better than a Bright, which was actually surprisingly drinkable given that it's a sugar added beer.

Actually there is a bar Sunset? right up the road from Lovers Ice Cream that has Old Speckled Hen, a very good English Ale. Keep it in mind for the next trip..........

Last week Sunset had signs for Old Speckled Hen but didn't actually have any. Bartender told us they haven't actually had it in a while and probably won't get it back any time soon.

Never figured out what people saw in the Brites. While on Bonaire I usually drink Guinness or Heineken, which is far from my favorite, but has more taste than the Brite, or that other yellow stuff OP asked for :shakehead:

Often there is little choice, as supplies of many things can run low between container ships!

As mentioned Lovers does usually have a fair selection of Belgiums.
