3040 is a good choice for a first venture into digital especially if you are pretty good with a camera any way.

Several reasons.....
1. At 3MP it's good for prints up to 8x10 if he wants.
2. It's easy to use with lots of options and versatility.
3. It uses the same memory and housing as my C-4040 so everything I already have is interchangeable.
4. Found a deal too good to pass up from someone I totally trust.
It has been a very good decision!!!!
