Beach dive in SD this week?

Well I was waiting for plans to finalize. I am in if people are going. Are you going to be able to make it after the meeting? Are you going Wed or Thurs and at what time? I am good either day - but Wed is better. Let the board know and we can finalize plans.

Wednesday (8/4) dusk dive, La Jolla Shores/Marine Room, who will be there and what time????

Shaka Zulu and I will be at the Marine Room tonight. Meeting at 7:30-7:45. Sunset is about 7:53. If vis is bad at the Marine room we will head out to the canyon. I have had a good time my last 2 dives at the Marine Room during the day, so hopefullly even better at NIGHT!!!

Anyone is welcome to join us. I am not going to the bottom bunch meeting so I'll be there on time. Hope to see you there! Bring a dive light or 2.

Ryan and I just got back from the Cove.....Good dive witha good buddy, Vis was poor due to surge, although it was still fun. we saw three LARGE sea bass and tooled around a small Kelp forest.. BT was 55min, water temp at 45ft was 57. if you're going to dive tonight I would head for the canyon, Vis should be much better around 70ft.

From the Marine room, you can still hit the south wall of the canyon. Sounds like you dewds had fun..........

Hey guys...my friend Monica and I will be coming down to SD to dive on Sunday. We will be staying at a friends place on the base. She's the manager of the Sports Chalet dive center up here in Ventura, and we have contacted the SP guys down there to let us know of some good beach dives to hit....but do you have any additional suggestions?
