Does anyone know if there is a product on the market to repair a tiny puncture in a BC? Apparently the steel buckle on the tank band for one of my ScubaPro BCs made a small hole in the back of the BC. I don't know if they make an epoxy patch kit (or something similar) or if the BC is destined for the spare parts pile. Thanks!

It is repairable. If it is urathane coated cordura, aquaseal alone will plug small hole or ad a patch of the same material for larger holes. If it is a bladder, then aquaseal may not work a well because the material may expand. Try a waterbed patch on that.

Is the puncture in the cover, the bladder, or both? You may want to try purchasing a new cover and bladder from the manufacturer. I have purchased replacement covers and I suspect a bladder can be purchased also.

The problem with a repair of the bladder is that it may fail when you least want or need it to.

It's a personal choice.

aquaseal will work.it is most likely a bladderless bc.if the hole is tiny put some aquaseal on a tooth pick and stick the stuff in the hole and then maybe some on the out side around the puncture..obviously do not leave the toothpick in the hole.
