I think people use BC more.

while I use the term bcd, I'm one of those anally retentive pharmacist types, I hear the term bc much more often

How funny. I created the poll when I created the post, but for some reason it didn't show up until now. Bizarre.

I vote for "the floaty vest looking thing that holds my 'oxygen' tank"! hahaha!
The first person that I ever talked to about diving called it a BC, so it stuck...(plus it's one less letter to type!)
