You can use weight integration with the TransPac II and a backplate/wing. Lots of options here, I'll name the ones that come to mind.

For TransPac II's, it's Dive Rite's weight pockets.

For backplate and wing, you can use the same system ince these just go on your waist webbing. Or if you like Halcyon products, they have Active Control Ballast (ACB) system. If you go with a Zeagle backplate, they offer their ripcord weight integrated system for their backplates.

For Dive Rite dealer, you can check out Dive Rite Express.

For backplate and wing dealers, you can check out Northeast Scuba Supply. They actually have the Dive Rite TransPlate system w/ weight integration for a very good price. Check out the threads on TransPlate for more info on this rig. Also, there is COVCI. Plus Deep Sea Supply, that has their own system. And FredT who has backplates for sale. You'll have to PM him for his price list. There's actually a thread on bp manufacturers, and that may have more info.

redhatmama:
I have had a couple of email exchanges with Larry about the Zeagle Brigade. I used a Ranger in class and liked it (except the bladder is hard to empty). My LDS will sell me one for $849.00 -- Larry's Brigade is much more reasonable. Are the ripcord weights a hassle when traveling? It's pretty easy to stuff the weight pockets in the Sherwood.

The ripcord weight system is 0 hassle when traveling. You just take whatever weights they have on the boat, and put them in the zippered pocket... that's it. No pockets to mess with or loose.

Interesting price on a ranger. The suggested retail is only $699. And you'd be less than that...

Thanks, Larry, you are great. My instructor would not demonstrate the ripcord system because it said it was too much trouble to get them back in, but apparently the weights load in seperate from the ripcords? We didn't get to use integrated in class because of the bc removal skill, which seemed silly to me.

My LDS charges a lot more than retail price on just about everything.

I'll call your store next week to discuss Zeagle vs. wings/backplate.

The Zeagle Ladies Ranger would work for you.

You can choose one size vest, another size narrow cut shoulders, and have a cummerbun that you can move to any one of 3 positions.

Any Zeagle dealer should be able to fit you into a "nearly custom" BC without any custom cost!

Scott

Edited to add: As far as the ripcord goes, do a search on here and you will find my Ripcord vs. Pullout rant somewhere buried in some thread...:)
