I'll have to agree with turnerjd.
However, you might want to look more into Jacket type BC's rather than back mounted. Back mounted does push you forward a little on the surface. And being a Pro, lot's of time is spent on the surface.
Also, get a BC which give extra lifts. At times you may need to carry extra weights with you or handle something heavy (anchors, bottom markers and etc....) while underwater.
