well, a huge part of our problem is that we don't have the population base to pull from. The island is the major part of diving, and honestly, how far away do people come from? Plus, most people who dive, think of tropical waters, a shorty, some fins, a bcd and go. Not a drysuit, boots, gloves, hood.....

Oh, and ontario has some great diving. The great lakes have tons of wrecks that are amazing as they're in fresh water and in pristine condition. I haven't made it there yet, this is just what I've read, but obviously there is something there. I'm sad to say it, but I think calgary has a bigger dive industry then we do sometimes.
