Hi too late in the Day to call Bauer.:(
Third stage piston shot appears no oil getting to it.:depressed:
bauer sent out Schematics saying that oil pump and third stage piston with sleeve from Oceanus will fit?
Don't see any oil pump in old schematics i have.
Thanks for the help!!!!!!!!!!
Jerry :D

My Oceanus does have an oil pump if this is what you are asking, it is on the crankshaft, fan side and looks like a bearing in the schematics.

Thanks asking if oil pump on Utilus, think there is not one.

I had a look at the Utilus spare parts list schematics and like the Junior, it does not seem to have an oil pump unfortunately.

Hi,
My Bauer tech cannot seem to figure out what the problem with my compressor is/
Filled one tank to 3000 psi right away,2nd tank at 2000 psi 2nd stage releif valve starting blowing.
Found out that it backed off the original setting.
started up starting knocking ,bauer Tech wants to replace third stage piston$350.000
Lawrence factor and another Bauer tech says its probably the second stage valves.
Can't get back to my compressor till thursday night or Friday morning,Frustating to say the least.
JL

WOW... your problem is obvious!! Sounds like a Bauer Tech replacement is called for.:D

Problem valves will allow pressure to flow backwards so that the 3rd stage is pumping back into the 2nd stage which will lift the safety. Adjusting the safety is a potential way to cause damage.

When you started it up again and it knocked, it most likely never built up enough pressure to make the floating piston work properly. I think that leaky valves could be the culprit here as well.

Thanks to Northshore Compressor and Porter styles(August industries)for locating a new piston sleeve for my older compressor
Jerry
