it is not mine, it belongs to a dive center. I just got the photo because I am curious why they call it a P42 while in USA P42 is a P41 x 2 units with a separate water separator. There is no info on European P42 I can find.
This is the cheapo Poseidon/Bauer using the same block as my 3 stage Mariner 200 K 120II but it is pushed to 1,800 RPM to get a 300 L/M, then they called it HE300 or PE300, HE is this square frame. This one has no B control, not even overheating shutdown or low oil pressure shut down, only auto-drain. Once it is a branded as Poseidon, the good stuff dissapear and priced lower, same case as PE200 which is basically a stripped down Mariner 200.
Actually I have the same question as you regarding the filter, since I took a look at the non securus cartridge for this P42 is the
same as my P41.

So dimension wise internally is all the same. If there is any difference at all it would be perhaps the way the Securus cable inter connect to the P42 Securus filter cartridge sensor. Better yet, this could be a way of selling cheaper Securus cartridge for a lower cost P42.
Do you have a schematic on the P42 tower ? Are you on a Bauer brand or Poseidon ?
I am very curious how the intergration of the water separator to the filter tower is for presure life cycle concern.
I can only think of P42 as a cost savings method over a P41 which requires a stand alone water separator but I like it that way.
Sorry I cant help you on the filter cartridge question, but as curious as you are.
Thanks n apology
