Does anyone know if the single phase electric motors on the bauer junior ii & the Oceanus are the same specs? I’ve seen somewhere stating the newer model Oceanus uses a 5hp lincoln motor & the junior uses a 3hp. But in an older manual For Oceanus (2001) is says 3hp. Did they change over the years? Anyone have pics of there units motors they would like to share? Much appreciated, thanks.

Current ones use 3 kW compared to 2.2 kW for Junior II. The manual I have for a 2000 model Oceanus also says it has 3 kW.

I believe the earlier models (around 2000) used a Leroy-somer motor, then at some point Bauer changed over to the Lincoln, the junior motors seem to have less kw than Oceanus but run higher rpm’s- is this correct?
