I'm a Fish!
any coldwater divers want to comment on these drysuit undies? looking for a new set. my drysuit inflation is mostly air - but as soon as I can find another reliable source I'm back to argon.

What kind of dry suit are you wearing? Neoprene, trilam, crushed neoprene, etc. I think the CT200 would be great for winter diving in neoprene, or crushed neoprene. I would want something more like a weezle extreme plus for trilam. I use a weezle extreme plus under a Bare XCD2 right now and am toasty warm, also use it under a trilam and really like that combo.

Bare HD Trilam. heard great things about the weazle too.

I used it with a tls350 down to 44 degrees and it was pretty good for a 30 minute dive. I was using a wet hood and wet gloves and my head and hands made me end the dive.

I liked it and LP has it for under $200 last time I checked. I got rid of it because I lost weight and it was very big one me to start with. I would have kept it and it probably would have been warmer if it fit me better. The sizes run pretty big. All in all, a well made thinsulate suit that doesn't break the bank. Just some observations. Good luck.

I like my CT-200 and it keeps me warm in 50F water on trimix dives with long deco and without argon. I have a trilam suit. I had to go one size larger than they recommend on their chart for better range of motion since it doesn't stretch at all. I'd be interested to hear comments on their recently redesigned CT-200.

for cold water, I'd recommend going 400W. DUI or Diving concepts. I know a number of people in the CT200 around here who aren't kept warm enough in winter months for long dives.

great info - will look harder into other options.

Great Wolfeel pic BCSEAN :D

I use the Baer CT200 and so far in 40 deg water. I most definitly have to layer good quality poly pro underware and a fleece shirt or wool sweater on top of that to stay moderately warm.
