Holy cow, RJP. My hat’s off to you!

I didn't even mention the goodie bag of scallops I left on the bottom on the first dive! (Damn those bananas!)

250' out was actually a bit of hyperbole. Was a 250' reel though...

:D

Fortunately one of the passengers retrieved the reel (and my dinner) on their second dive and brought it back to the anchor line.

By sheer coincidence I LOST my scallop/bug bag on the first dive of 7/19 (faulty clip or diver fastening it). Whilst commiserating during the SI and listening to 1/2 of the USCG chatter about a distressed diver up the coast I borrowed another bag thus salvaging dinner, i.e., bugs and scallops, during the 2nd go.

See...do not doubt the evil power of the banana! One banana, two lost goodie bags on the same day? Coincidence?

Was this person wearing a banana-hammock? This type of male swimming apparel is not allowed on a real NE wreck diving boat. That coupled with real banana can only signal evil intent. :D
